Every figure above is an aggregate of published rows from the bodies below. Weights are each source’s share of the observations behind that row.

How to read this page

• The band, not the median. P10 and P90 are the tenth and ninetieth percentiles of the contributing rows. A quote inside the band is ordinary; one outside it is worth a question, not an accusation.
• Ex VAT, delivered-equivalent. Prices arrive on different transport terms and are converted to a common basis before aggregation. The conversions are written out in the normalization reference.
• Dated from observation, not from sale. No contributing source states a sale date, which is normal for state price lists. The date above is the day we recorded the price, and the index does not describe it as a sale date.
• This is a reference, not a quote. It cannot price an individual log, which depends on diameter, grade, defect and who is buying.
