Every region above is the same product stage (sawlog) and the same market tier (value-timber auction), so the regional differences here are genuinely comparable. They still reflect different observation dates — check the Updated column before reading two regions against each other.
The index does not publish a single national or European average for european cherry, and would not be more useful if it did. Averaging a Bavarian submission auction with a Bulgarian state price list produces a number that describes no market anyone can buy in.
