Reading the spread
Every region above is the same product stage (sawlog) and the same market tier (bulk roundwood), so the regional differences here are genuinely comparable. They still reflect different observation dates — check the Updated column before reading two regions against each other.
The index does not publish a single national or European average for turkey oak, and would not be more useful if it did. Averaging a Bavarian submission auction with a Bulgarian state price list produces a number that describes no market anyone can buy in.
